10 year old me is bored
I’m usually bored on a Sunday
Mum says
I should play my guitar
But
I don’t want to
I ask my sister if she will play with me
But
She is playing with her stupid doll
I ask my Mum
But
she is washing up and then doing Open
University
AND that’s what she is ALWAYS doing
I go to ask my Dad
But
He’s asleep
I decide to go upstairs and look in my
toybox
AND think hard about what it might be like
To be nearly 40 and a parent of a 10 year
old.
Spellings have stopped being sent home. Today I found my personal file written by me aged 10.
There are some strangely surprising thoughts within. This appeals to my list vice.
